What is metal lithography?
Metal is decorated via an offset printing process utilizing CMYK colors (4-Color Process). The process of printing is done on large, flat metal sheets on which the image to be printed is ink-receptive and the blank areas ink-repellent. Once printed, the sheets are “punched” and “bent” into “can” form.
Are decorated tins suitable for food storage?
Yes. We use all lead-free inks and food grade lacquers and varnishes are used in the lithographic process to ensure the tins are non-toxic and suitable for food storage. In addition, our tins are environmental friendly and 100% recyclable.
What is the estimated lead-time for production?
Lead-time is approximately 30- 45 days from approval of pre-production sample.
What is the MOQ (Minimum order quantity) for a tin order?
Minimum order quantity is approximately 3,000pcs – 5,000pcs per order depending on tin size.
Do you have a standard price list?
Due to the custom nature of each project, we do not have a standard price list. Projects are quoted based on size, shape, material, quantity and printing specifications.
Can I get my tins personalized?
Sure! We offer 2 methods of printing, Silk Screen printing that allows us to print solid PMS colors and Digital printing that allows us to print 4 color process. We can customize most of our tin lids via both silk screening or digitally and we can also customize the bodies of our taller, cylindrical tins via silk screening.
